In Austria, GEZA particularly deals with educational work in the field of development policy. GEZA raises awareness by informing the public about the concerns of people in so called developing countries. Moreover, GEZA supports people in the “South” through advocacy work.

GEZA accomplishes continuous educational work in schools, organizes orientation events, panel discussions, exhibitions and movie nights in order to call attention to the situation of people in developing countries, the set of problems concerning the Western Sahara conflict and the imperative of the attainment of the UN Millenium Development Goals until 2015.
